Perceiving and saying “Yes”.
I clearly remember the first Miksang talk Michael Wood & Julie DuBose gave in Cologne in 2006. While they were talking about how we are perceiving the world, I immediately felt that this is about un-glueing my viewing habits and at the same time as well as deeply inspiring my creativity.
In my work as an architect and feng shui consultant I appreciate the ‘magic moments’ when a place feels complete and enriched. My formula for this work is, perceiving and saying “Yes”. I let the feeling for the place arise in me. When it is good, it stays. This way of working is beyond what’s trendy and fashionable. This feels similar to the magic of Miksang – look, take a deep breath, and look further. My essential experience is that perceiving happens through relaxation. It works also the other way around: relaxation is strengthend during perceving.
I remember that when I was a child I trained in new skills with a lot of patience. Part of that training was also bravery, enduring-ness and a belief in my talent. I have taken photos since the age of fourteen and I have been working with rooms and space for many years now. The disciplines are now feeding each other. It’s all about being in the present moment and perceiving the world as it is. So this is my training today. And I deeply love the joy and appreciation which it brings into my everyday life.

Hiltrud Enders has completed the course of study developed by the Miksang Institute, and and also attended a five-day Teacher Training workshop offered by the Insititute in July, 2012. She also attended further Teacher Training in June, 2014 in Boulder, Colorado as well as in August 2019 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Hiltrud is certified to teach, ‘Making Contact’ and ‘The Heart of Perception’, and ‘Form, Space and Moments’ on behalf of the Miksang Institute.
Hiltrud is also the Miksang Institute’s Representative and Coordinator for all of Europe. She speaks German and English.
