Studying Miksang has been a process of great expansion
from which I feel myself becoming increasingly absent.
In my opinion, the transformation that occurs through
studying Miksang doesn't necessitate the addition of
anything, only of removing conventions that restrict
our visual experience. In this way, I feel Miksang is a
pure teaching; it asserts nothing that can't be
experienced through the eyes of its students. To me,
Miksang is a teaching of deep simplicity and deep
appreciation; an experience of the perpetual inclusion
of all things and experiences. This is the discovery of
humbleness and freedom that Miksang has inspired. I am
grateful to my teacher for opening my eyes.
